We searched the Internet for do-it-yourself plans to build a hot tub. I was very excited to find your website, which used concrete blocks as a base. Since I am a bricklayer; it was easy for me to install the base of the project. The work was done by me, my wife, and my son. We followed your directions and covered the base with 1″ x 1″ ceramic tiles. The walls of the spa are a concrete board base covered with Imperial plaster base coat and finished in Venetian Plaster. The glass block panels are separated by 2 mirrors which add plenty of depth to the room. The built-in plant enclosure adds color to the room. We also installed a television enclosure opposite the plant enclosure. Although I could not keep track of the hours it took me to finish the project, I know it will be enjoyed.
